Behold The Valley of the Dolls

"The Barbie Guy"
I was thoroughly honored when invited to give a Barbie presentation on March 9, "National Barbie Day," aka Barbie's Birthday, at Paradise Village in San Diego, California. (March 9 is the day Mattel's "teen-age fashion model" made her debut in 1959.)
I set up a cute display of dolls from my collection, representing Barbie through the years. It was fun talking about Barbie and answering questions from the guests in attendance. Everyone was served pink-frosted Barbie cookies and pink rosé wine!
